The Career Development Technician apprenticeship is designed for human resource aspirants who desire HR generalist, specialist, or manager roles. This program will provide training on recruiting, employee and labor relations, organizational development, change management, training and development, as well as other core HR functional areas. At program completion, which consists of 144 hours of sponsor provided training per year for two years, apprentices will receive an industry recognized Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program completion certificate. Qualified unemployed applicants may be eligible for a grant under the Texas Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA).
